I operationalise my research and share it with the field in knowledge exchange projects. In workshops, I present, to my colleagues in the field, models of policy and practice derived from my research, and think through with the field the possibilities and barriers to operationalizing this knowledge. This process places me (and the other researchers I work with) in the center of a dialogue between the academy and field in which research, dissemination, and impact become dynamically linked in an iterative cycle with the field and academy continually informing each other.
